SMS Demag INNSE is acting as a subsidiary of SMS Demag AG in the field of Hot Rolling Mills for a broad range of material and sizes.

Our Production Facilities are designed for producing strips and plates. Ideal for producing strips are our Hot Strip Mills.

The combination of the CSP Process (40 to 50 mm thin slabs) with the newly developed Hot Strip Mills technology enables the rolling of ultra-thin strips (below 1 mm) of low carbon steel. Our Heavy Plate Mills combined with our Levelling Machines and the Accelerated Cooling Systems are used to produce plates with low final thickness and top yield strengths. There are no gaps in our Aluminum Production Facilities. We have installed single-stand reversing plants for the largest widths in thin strip or panel production with one or more coilers, as well as high-performance rolling mills with reversing roughing mills, multiple-stand finishing trains and powerful coilers. Many operators successfully use our Steckel Rolling Mills to produce strip and sheet from special steels. This is an economical solution for producing hot strip from stainless and acid-resistant steels.
